This position is responsible for supporting the successful execution of major systems programs and projects by driving effective and efficient scheduling practices across the integrated product development team, including resource and task management support across all involved functions.
Reporting to the Operations Director, this person will lead the delivery of manufacturing excellence and sustain the necessary performance in quality, cost, delivery and safety through the development and motivation of people, the effective introduction and use of manufacturing resources and the implementation of appropriate planning and control systems.
The CI Manager will have key responsibility for establishing and developing Continuous Improvement Strategies for Titchfield utilizing Eaton Business System as the foundation. Producing a long term strategy for the deployment of a best practice lean management system across the Titchfield Operations function utilizing the Eaton Lean and Six Sigma (ELSS) process as the primary tool for driving continuous improvement.
The Supply Chain Program Manager manages, in a matrix environment, the sourcing function across Eaton sites for Major Subcontract procurements. Subcontracts Program Management involve components and assemblies of supplier design to Eaton or customer specification to be incorporated into an Eaton product and critical components as defined in the project sourcing plan.
This role leads the Demand Management improvement program for the Titchfield site to accelerate the deployment of the Aerospace wide Standard Materials Management (SMART) initiative and Demand management processes. Manages SMART improvement initiatives to remove existing performance barriers and to drive desired customer service and financial results.
This position is responsible for developing and implementing the supplier quality and development strategy for the assigned plant. Provides leadership and guidance for subordinates in analyzing, measuring, and improving supplier performance.
Act as technical lead for fuel pump projects internally and externally as directed by the Engineering or Project Manager.
