Job Description
Assist with the delivery of a clean and safe user environment within various premises across East Ayrshire to promote, deliver, and integrate the Council’s key objectives, specifically related to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update, before a formal offer of employment is made. PVG records are constantly updated; any relevant information will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a temporary, part-time, term-time post based at Bellsbank Primary School. The post involves 14.5 hours per week with the following schedule:
* Monday to Thursday: 3.30pm - 6.30pm
* Friday: 3.30pm - 6.00pm
The position is temporary until 26th July 2026.
