Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) is a world-renowned centre of clinical excellence and one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the UK. Providing the highest quality of healthcare, we employ up to 12,500 staff, including over 4,000 nurses and 2,000 doctors. The Trust comprises four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital (which includes the Children's Hospital, West Wing, Eye Hospital, Heart Centre, and Women's Centre), the Churchill Hospital and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury, North Oxfordshire. Most services are provided in our hospitals, but over six percent are delivered across the region.
We are proud to have an extensive range of collaborations with partners including the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University.
About Us
Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country. It provides a wide range of general and specialist clinical services and is a base for medical education, training and research. The Trust comprises four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury. Our values, standards and behaviours define the quality of clinical care we offer and the professional relationships we make with our patients, colleagues and the wider community. We call this Delivering Compassionate Excellence and focus on our values of compassion, respect, learning, delivery, improvement and excellence. These values put patients at the heart of what we do and underpin the quality healthcare we would like for ourselves or a member of our family.
