Town Planner Southampton HR 11021 Salary: negotiable depending on skills and experience Our client, a growing housebuilder is urgently looking for a Senior Town Planner to join their team in Southampton. The successful Senior Town Planner will be working to deliver a variety of applications for predominantly residential sites. Qualifications and Experience: For this position applications are sought from candidates who have a relevant RTPI accredited degree, have achieved Chartered Planner status or are working towards this and who have a minimum of two years planning experience, preferably within a housebuilder or consultancy environment. Duties: Compile Planning applications, conditions, and appeal documentation for submission to Local Planning Authorities, including research as necessary on previous planning applications of sites. Manage the submission of planning applications to Local Planning Authorities. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Attend Planning Committee Meetings and Public Consultation Meetings to represent Foreman Homes. Organise and maintain office work systems, including ensuring that computer records are accurate and up to date.
