About the Role: We are looking for a Part-Time Team Secretary for a leading law firm in Sheffield. The role provides a high-quality and efficient secretarial service to fee-earners and trainee solicitors. This is a job share position, offering the opportunity to work within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Reporting directly to the Secretarial Services Manager, you will take ownership of your workload and be proactive in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day administrative and secretarial tasks.
Responsibilities
* Preparing general legal correspondence and documentation
* Producing and collating bundles and legal papers
* Creating secure links and managing document sharing
* Drafting and preparing forms and templates
* Conducting document comparisons and proofreading for accuracy
* Liaising with clients, courts, and external contacts
* Opening new matters and maintaining accurate electronic records
* Coordinating meetings, conference calls, and appointments
* Processing fee-earner expenses
* Managing workflow to support teams such as the Document & Design Centre and Print Room
* Building effective working relationships with colleagues across all levels
* Providing cross-practice support as required
About You
* Previous experience as a legal secretary is essential
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* A proactive, professional, and flexible approach to your work
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Confidence in liaising with clients and colleagues at all levels
