The department delivers a broad and engaging curriculum focused on British, European and world history, helping students develop strong analytical thinking, source evaluation and independent enquiry skills. Students are encouraged to think critically, debate historical interpretations and engage confidently with key historical events and themes. Lessons are discussion-based and designed to develop analytical thinking, essay-writing skills and independent learning.
