Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing client operating within the marketing and technology sectors, looking for a proactive Sales Development Specialist to join their outsourced services team. This role combines outbound prospecting with modern sales development techniques, supporting innovative marketing and tech solutions.
You will be responsible for engaging B2B prospects, identifying opportunities, and generating high-quality leads that drive pipeline growth for a diverse portfolio of clients, including SaaS, digital marketing, and technology providers.
Key Responsibilities
Execute outbound prospecting campaigns (calls, emails, and social outreach) targeting decision-makers across marketing and technology sectors
Identify, engage, and qualify potential clients by understanding their commercial goals, marketing challenges, and technology needs
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including Marketing Directors, Heads of Digital, and C-level executives
Book qualified meetings and sales opportunities for clients sales teams
Maintain accurate records of all interactions and pipeline activity within CRM systems
Collaborate with internal teams to refine messaging, targeting strategies, and campaign performance
Proven experience in sales development, outbound telemarketing, or B2B lead generation (ideally within marketing, SaaS, or technology sectors)
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and articulate complex solutions clearly
Commercial awareness and understanding of marketing technologies (e.g. CRM platforms, martech tools, SaaS solutions)
Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools
Self-starter xsngvjr with a target-driven mindset and resilience in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Adaptable and comfortable working across multiple client campaigns and industries
