Job Description About the Opportunity Join a highly reputable, family-run modern law firm with a commercial approach, working directly with the Managing Director and her team of lawyers and support staff. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious qualified Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to advance their career whilst delivering expert, commercially minded legal advice. Key Responsibilities: • Managing a varied caseload of litigation matters from inception to conclusion • Conducting legal research and preparing comprehensive case strategies • Drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence • Representing clients in court proceedings and hearings • Providing expert legal advice to both existing and new clients • Building and maintaining strong client relationships • Collaborating with the MD and legal team to maintain top-class service levels • Ensuring compliance with professional standards and ethical requirements • Managing case progression and meeting critical deadlines • Contributing to business development and client retention initiatives What We're Looking For: • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with litigation experience • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court processes • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work flexibly in a busy and growing practice • High professional and ethical standards • Commercial awareness and client-focused approach • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer: • Competitive salary: £45,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience) • Opportunity to work directly with the Managing Director • Professional development opportunities • Supportive team environment in a growing firm • Monday to Friday working hours (9am - 5:30pm) • Choice of Chelmsford or Leigh-on-Sea office locations About Us Our client is a well-established, family-run law firm with a modern approach to legal services.
