What you’ll be doing
Are you passionate about people and making a real difference in the workplace? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HR Officer to join our dedicated HR team and help shape a positive, inclusive, and supportive employee experience across the Council.
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll be the first point of contact for managers and employees, providing clear, practical HR advice and ensuring our policies are applied fairly and consistently. You’ll also play a key part in keeping our day-to-day HR operations running smoothly — from coordinating Access to Work arrangements to managing Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests, helping us meet our statutory obligations with confidence.
Working alongside the HR Casework Officer and the Employee Relations & Policy Manager, you’ll contribute to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with HR experience who’s ready to build on their skills in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment where people truly matter.
