About The Role
You’ll work hand‑in‑hand with engineers, sales, manufacturing, purchasing, and service teams. From concept through final design you will manage project activities and support our product range. You will also be involved in testing and analysis of new and current equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive design initiatives from concept to production for tracked conveyors, hopper feeders, truck unloaders, and telescopic stackers.
* Coordinate project activities and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
* Conduct testing, analysis, and performance measurement of equipment.
* Support new product development and contribute to innovation.
Required Criteria
* Minimum bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in equipment design and manufacturing (mechanical, structural, hydraulic and electrical/control system design).
* Proficient with CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and ERP systems (Epicor/Oracle preferred).
* Ability to develop calculations (load development, stress analysis, hydraulic circuit analysis, costing) and interpret results.
* Understanding of engineering design process, new product development, and manufacturing practices.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to read, interpret and create engineering drawings and standards.
* Knowledge of materials science and material properties as they relate to engineering decisions.
Desired Criteria
* Experience designing bespoke material handling plant from concept to production.
* Experience with FEA.
