Overview
Lynebank Hospital in Dunfermline, or Stratheden Hospital in Cupar, are part of the NHS Fife Psychology Service. The service provides care across all major clinical specialties in Fife and has an excellent reputation for innovation and staff development. This role is part of a project that pilots a brief psychological assessment and formulation approach for neuro‑divergent adults. The post is a fixed‑term, Scottish‑government funded position based within the Learning Disability and Neurodevelopmental Psychology Team and can be based at either hospital, with required travel and some online delivery.
Responsibilities
* Deliver brief psychological assessment and formulation for neuro‑divergent adults following the project protocol.
* Provide group interventions as required.
* Support the creation of digital resources.
* Contribute to service redesign, development, research and service evaluation to support the programme of work.
* Work closely with colleagues and receive regular clinical and managerial supervision.
* Participate in the team’s active in‑house CPD programme.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Must become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
