Your will be ......... Providing Fleet maintenance depots support to measure, analyse and improve fleet, process and individual performance. Recording all information relating to fleet performance in various databases as required (Bugle/Trust/XV etc). Identifying and reporting trends and failure modes such that both technical and production teams can make informed decisions based on accurate performance data. Investigating, preparing and providing various performance and safety related incident reports, in support of the delivery of fleet performance business targets & efficient maintenance processes. Supporting the development and management of the GTR Fleet Departments inputs and schemes with respect to the Joint Performance Improvement Program (JPIP). To improve the fault-finding skills of depot production staff and support a reduction in competency related train failures and repeat defects: What you have to offer...... A minimum of 3 years knowledge and experience working on traction & rolling stock HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline. An understanding of railway performance management systems and processes. A sound technical knowledge and understanding of a variety of traction and rolling stock and the maintenance standards that are applicable to them. A good understanding of a variety of railway operating and safety standards, rules and instructions.
