Our market Square and Guildhall Square are home to many market and event activities, and we are looking for a markets officer to support these. The job is varied and includes physically putting up and setting down the market equipment to supporting stall holders and members of the public with day to day queries. This will involve ensuring people are working safely and that the areas are safe for the public but also include the following: What you would be doingTo set up, shut down and keep tidy, the regular Tuesday and Saturday Charter Markets, the additional markets and events as and when required working with Market Traders, providers and customers.To resolve on site problems on Market & fair days in support of the Markets Officer, Operations Manager and Business Team.
