Description What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will: Initial Engagement & Assessment: Build rapport using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach and conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments. Clinical Formulation & Care Planning: Develop clinical formulations and personalised care plans tailored to individual needs. Risk Assessment & Management: Complete risk assessments and implement appropriate risk management strategies in line with mandatory reporting requirements. Referrals & Service Navigation: Connect young people to appropriate headspace services, clinicians, and consortium partners. Informed Consent: Clearly explain consent processes, obtain permissions, and ensure accurate documentation. Stakeholder Communication: Engage with families, carers, and relevant stakeholders (with consent) to support holistic care. Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver evidence-based individual interventions and brief targeted support. Group Programs & Family Work: Facilitate psychoeducation groups, social inclusion activities, and family consultations. Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated, holistic support. What You Bring Essential: Formal qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing. Eligibility to register or Current registration with AHPRA or AASW. Profession must be one of the following: Registered Psychologist, Social Worker, Mental Health Nurse, or Mental Health Occupational Therapist. Strong understanding of the National Standards for Mental Health Services. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
