Role Overview
The PDS plays a critical role in delivering specialised as well as routine dental services to Fife residents, while still meeting the needs of the ageing population and reducing oral health inequalities.
Key Responsibilities
As a GDC registered Dental Nurse holding the national qualification, you will provide chair side dental care for children and adults. It would be great if you are up to speed with the practical application of the SDR and are familiar with R4 Clinical+.
Qualifications
* GDC registered Dental Nurse holding the national qualification.
* Practical application of the SDR and familiarity with R4 Clinical+.
* Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme prior to appointment.
* Legal right to work in the United Kingdom (visa, EU settled, or pre‑settled status).
Additional Information
As of 1st April 2026 the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week; part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata.
There will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected. Salary is pro‑rata for part‑time hours.
