About Eden Girls' School, Slough
Eden Girls’ School, Slough is a Muslim faith‑based secondary school for girls that welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. Opened in 2015, the school has a leadership specialism and is one of the highest performing schools in the country, with a Progress 8 score of +1.19 for our GCSE results. Our Ofsted rating is ‘Outstanding’ following our second inspection in February 2024.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils. You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives and supporting and developing their learning. Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, providing the support they need to succeed.
The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, and to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.
You will have:
* A Levels or Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent.
* An understanding of the main Health and Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment, and how they apply in a school environment.
* Detailed knowledge of Health & Safety legislation as it relates to the work of a school.
* The ability to carry out risk assessments in relation to practical work.
* The ability to effectively direct the work of a team.
