If youre an Engineering graduate who enjoys solving problems, then this role could be ideal for you.
You'll be using specialist software to model and create a real-time 'digital twin' of water networks, and storm and wastewater networks. You can then identify any potential issues, or areas of concern - for example with surges of water. Then you can make recommendations to the client so they can address it.
In addition to having an interesting and challenging job, youll be doing some good for people and the environment: playing a direct part in preventing problems with water networks; or stopping sewage going into the sea, including in high-profile tourism areas.

WHAT YOULL NEED
Dont worry if youve not done anything like this as full training will be provided
Your degree should be engineering based; ideally Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical.
You should be able to demonstrate good numerical reasoning and attention to detail. If you have some Hydraulics knowledge, or experience with using software then that would be ideal, but if not it can be trained.
Youll quickly develop specialised knowledge.
WHERE YOULL BE DOING IT
The location is north-west Leeds, and has good bus routes. Its also near to Bradford. It's preferred that you are already based in commuting distance, or are easily able to relocate due to connections there.
Youll be office based, but in time there may be some scope to work from home part of the time. You may also get the opportunity to meet with your business clients.
