Our client – a leading conference and events company – is seeking a Team Manager in Events Management to cover a 12-month maternity leave, to start in December. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Team Manager who wants to step into a senior leadership role and progress to Director level, make a real impact, and work with a respected brand in the events industry. Reporting to the UK Managing Director, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 4.
Oversee end-to-end event management, ensuring seamless delivery.
Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders and clients.
Identify and solve challenges quickly, maintaining high standards under pressure.
Collaborate with the UK MD and wider leadership team to drive business growth.
About You
Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken) to business standards.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial role, within events, conferences, or related industries.
Proven ability to lead teams within the events management sector.
Confident working with senior stakeholders.
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
Ambitious – this role offers mentoring from the UK MD.
