The role holder will provide a consistently excellent standard of teaching and support for student learning that is underpinned by research and knowledge exchange in the fields of Architectural History and Theory. The role emphasizes the integration of historical and theoretical knowledge into contemporary architectural design studio teaching, fostering critical thinking and contextual awareness in design practice. In collaboration with course directors and colleagues, the successful candidate will also contribute to curriculum development, student recruitment and the running of the undergraduate and postgraduate architecture programmesp>
The role holder will also supervise and examine Postgraduate, Masters and PhD students and make a significant contribution to the research culture of the Architecture, Culture and Tectonics Research Group and the Faculty of Engineering.

This is a permanent position. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however job share arrangements may be considered.
