We are seeking an Administrator to join the CSG People team during an exciting period of business change and growth.
This vacancy is on a 3 month fixed term contract with the possibility of an extension for a further 3 months.
Who you’ll be working with
Reporting into the People Advisory Manager, you will be an integral part of the CSG People team and will work closely with People Business Partners, internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support the provision of a high performing people advisory service, which helps to meet the needs of colleagues, supports successful outcomes for clients and aligns with the CSG business strategy.
This role will be linked to our Birmingham office, but some remote working will be available due to the national focus of this role. There will be a requirement for occasional travel, where required, by the business.
What you will do?
The purpose of the Administrator is to assist the People Advisory team with support on projects, attendance at meetings for note-taking, ensuring timely provision of typed notes, filing and support with any other administrative duties where required.
You will also work closely with the broader People team to provide a professional advisory service on a range of generalist people matters, which will include involvement in resolving any administrative queries escalated.
Who you are
* Requires a minimum of 5 GCSE passes including English and Maths (or equivalent)
* The following skills are essential:
* Good written and oral communication skills are vital alongside strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to confidently and effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues at all levels
* Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks and projects
* Highly organised, has the ability to prioritise effectively and deal calmly with deadlines and conflicting priorities
* Team oriented, flexible and enthusiastic with a positive and collaborative approach
* Ability to work autonomously and use own initiative when required
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* IT and data literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Some experience of working with People systems and/or administration essential
* Solutions orientated, with an enthusiasm for innovation and improvement
* Demonstrates alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive)
* The ability to understand a professional services business environment is preferred
* Previous experience of providing administrative support to a busy team is preferred
