This role is a Social Worker based in Aylesbury, working with the Adult Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub within Buckinghamshire Council.
Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload, delivering proportionate, outcome-focused assessments, support plans and reviews.
* Work in line with legislation, statutory guidance and local policies, with safeguarding at the forefront of practice.
* Build positive and effective working relationships with adults, families, carers and partner organisations.
* Apply a strengths‑based, community and assets‑focused approach in line with the Better Lives framework.
* Contribute to multi‑agency working, including safeguarding enquiries and reviews.
* Maintain accurate, high‑quality case records and produce clear, professional reports.
* Act as a positive ambassador for social work, contributing to service improvement and best practice.
Qualifications
* Hold a Social Work degree and be registered with Social Work England.
* Have experience working in Adult Social Care in the UK.
* Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
* Possess sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding procedures.
* Be able to work flexibly to meet service needs, manage priorities and adapt your approach in response to changing demands.
* Demonstrate emotional resilience, intelligence and a desire to enable clients to achieve or maintain goals of living independently.
* Show ability to work independently and collaboratively with partner agencies, while maintaining accurate and timely records.
