Our client, a leading provider of forward-looking infrastructure and travel solutions, is looking for a skilled Procurement Manager with experience in Civils & Installations to join their team.
As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing regional commodity strategies that align with the company's objectives and customer needs. This role is critical in supporting business growth, cost control and promoting supply chain resilience. You will work closely with various stakeholders across the organisation to ensure the successful execution of these strategies.
Responsibilities Outline:
* Consult on, develop, and implement regional Civils & Installations commodity strategies that meet company and customer needs, support business growth, cost control and promote supply chain resilience
* Manage, develop, and extend existing framework agreements and call-off contracts with suppliers, ensuring agreements are structured for risk mitigation, commercial viability, compliance, social value and sustainability
* Generate RFP templates based on customer requirements and evaluation methodologies for consistent and comparative evaluations of quotes
* Support Sales & Tendering teams with accurate costs, rate inclusions/exclusions, subcontractor engagement plans, and tailored contract management and risk mitigation strategies
* Evaluate and manage supplier performance to maintain a cost-effective, reliable, and resilient supply chain
Who They’re Looking For:
* Extensive experience in subcontractor management, procurement, or commercial management within construction, infrastructure or civil engineering sectors
* Strong commercial acumen, with experience in framework agreements, NEC contracts, and subcontractor risk management
* Knowledge of pricing structures and cost recovery models
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence teams across Sales, Project Delivery, Legal, HSQE and Finance
* Familiarity with UK procurement legislation, CDM regulations, and construction frameworks
