We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic General Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive practice team on a fixed-term 2-year contract for 5 clinical sessions a week. This is an exciting opportunity for a GP who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and is keen to develop additional interests within primary care.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have an interest in minor surgery and/or undertaking a GP Trainer role. The successful applicant will provide comprehensive, patient-centred care to our practice population while contributing to the continued development of clinical services and supporting the wider practice team. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver safe, effective, and accessible healthcare, helping us maintain excellent standards of care for our patients.
Main duties of the job

In addition to their clinical responsibilities, the postholder will contribute to agreed areas of practice work, including Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) activity, enhanced services, clinical audits, and the completion of medical reports. Responsibilities in these areas will be shared across the GP team according to individual interests and practice needs.
The successful candidate will also participate in the practice's enhanced access rota, helping to provide additional appointment availability for patients.
Please refer to the attached Job Description and Person Specification for full details of the role and its responsibilities.
