Who we are
As a Sr. Security Engineer on our Cyber Defense Engineering Team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the digital assets of a Fortune 100 global retailer. You will design, implement, and manage Vulnerability Scanning and Risk-based Vulnerability Management platforms. Specifically, you will support, maintain, and enhance our vulnerability management program by ensuring our services are operationally stable and have proper hygiene and coverage.

You will also develop and implement strategies to improve our vulnerability detection capabilities, collaborate with IT, architecture, and product teams to address security gaps, and provide recommendations to senior management.
You understand the impact of security tools on the environment and follow proper change management procedures to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of our data, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a proactive security culture within the organization.
What you’ll do
* You will help lead design, implementation, and technical strategy of our vulnerability management solutions within the Cyber Defense engineering organization
* Maintain keen oversight of the performance, stability, security, and operations of the cybersecurity solutions engineered by the team.
* Drive technical projects and take responsibility for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex initiatives.
* Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to develop consistent technical solutions, implementation activities, and support processes
* Assist with on-call escalation as needed.
* Influence standards and platforms for future application and roadmap development.
* Mentor team members through both professional and technical challenges, including those across multiple geographies.
Qualifications
* 5+ years in an active Security Engineering role with experience in large-scale corporate environments.
* Detailed knowledge of modern exploitation techniques, threats, and vulnerabilities.
* Experience with Vulnerability Scanning Solutions (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid 7)
* Experience with Risk-based vulnerability management solutions (Risksense, Cisco/Kenna, Palo Alto)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing, implementing, operating, and troubleshooting large-scale cybersecurity solutions, including:
* Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SANS GIAC, CSA (preferred)
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with infrastructure teams and developers
* Customer-focused solution design
* Scripting and automation skills
* Knowledge of network engineering and architecture, including DNS security, flow collection, encryption, and zero trust principles
* Proficiency in Windows and Linux architectures
* Experience with security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with TJX security standards

This position offers a starting salary range of $91,000 to $118,000 per year, determined by skills, qualifications, and experience. It is eligible for an annual incentive.
