Job Title: Primary Teacher - Alternative Provision Location: Gloucester Start Date: November 2025 Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (potential for permanent placement) We're seeking a compassionate and resilient Primary Teacher to join a nurturing alternative provision setting in Gloucester. This is a full-time teaching opportunity with long-term potential, ideally leading to a permanent role if the fit is right. You'll be working with pupils who benefit from a tailored, therapeutic approach to learning, helping them re-engage with education and thrive in a supportive environment. Responsibilities: Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum Creating a safe, inclusive, and emotionally supportive classroom environment Building trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced trauma or disruption Working closely with support staff, therapists, and SEN specialists Tracking progress and adapting strategies to meet individual needs Contributing to EHCP reviews and behaviour support plans ✅ Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience in primary education, ideally with SEMH/SEN exposure Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning styles A nurturing, patient, and trauma-informed approach Commitment to inclusion and pupil wellbeing Why Choose Us?
