Legal Entity Rationalisation Project Manager
12 Month Contract | Outside IR35 or FTC Option | Hybrid (London 1-2 days per week)
We are supporting a consultancy delivering a large-scale global transformation programme for an international professional services organisation.
As part of a wider operational and corporate transformation portfolio, there is now a requirement for an experienced Project Manager to lead a complex Legal Entity Rationalisation (LER) programme.
This is a high-profile, global initiative focused on legal entity consolidation, governance, restructuring, and operational alignment across multiple international jurisdictions.
The Role
The Legal Entity Rationalisation PM will take ownership of a global entity consolidation workstream involving:
* Legal entity closures and restructuring
* Cross-border governance and compliance activity
* Operational and financial impacts
* Stakeholder coordination across multiple regions and functions
This is a highly stakeholder-heavy role requiring strong governance, structure, and programme leadership capability.
The successful candidate will work closely across:
* Legal
* Finance
* Tax
* HR
* Operations
* Corporate governance teams
* External advisors and regional stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate a global Legal Entity Rationalisation programme
* Manage the closure, consolidation, and restructuring of international entities
* Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Legal, Finance, HR, Tax and Operations
* Establish governance, reporting, RAID management and delivery controls
* Identify and manage programme risks, dependencies and escalation points
* Ensure regulatory, governance and compliance obligations are tracked and managed
* Coordinate country-specific delivery activities and timelines
* Drive stakeholder engagement across senior leadership groups
* Create visibility, accountability and delivery momentum across the programme
Required Experience
* Proven Project Management experience within complex transformation environments
* Strong experience across:
* Legal Entity Rationalisation
* Corporate restructuring
* M&A integration
* Entity governance
* Finance transformation
* Strong understanding of legal entity structures and cross-functional business impacts
* Experience working across global / multi-country environments
* Strong governance, risk and stakeholder management capability
* Experience coordinating complex programmes across Legal, Finance, HR and Operations
* Comfortable operating within ambiguity and evolving transformation environments
* Strong communication and senior stakeholder management skills
