About the role
Equans is looking for a Multiskilled Engineer to join our team in Motherwell. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
* Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building services equipment.
* Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multi-technical systems.
* Diagnose faults efficiently and implement effective corrective actions with minimal downtime.
* Collaborate closely with project teams, site managers, and clients to ensure seamless service execution.
* Carry out various multi trade tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
* Ensure compliance with company quality standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Maintain and care for company tools and equipment, and keep the work area clean and tidy.
* Fulfil any Appointed Person / Responsible Person requirements across the sites.
* Manage company van responsibilities including care and key holding duties.

Qualifications and experience
* Proven experience as a multiskilled engineer in facilities management, building services, or industrial environments.
* Strong technical skills across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and related trades.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
* Good problem-solving skills with strong organizational and time management abilities.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Current relevant certifications and qualifications – Mechanical or Electrical NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
* Valid driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
