Customer Assistant – Edinburgh Jewellery Repair Ltd Location: 30 London Road, EH7 5AY (Abbey Hill, near Edinburgh city centre)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Tuesday–Saturday)
Contract: Permanent
Edinburgh Jewellery Repair Ltd is a small, friendly business specialising in jewellery repairs, restorations, and bespoke handcrafted pieces. Alongside our workshop services, we also operate a welcoming shop front offering a range of silver and gold jewellery.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Assistant to join our team. This role is based at the shop front and involves direct interaction with customers.
Welcoming customers and discussing the repair needs of their jewellery
Handling enquiries via phone and email
Maintaining a tidy and presentable shop environment
Supporting the daily running of the store
Full training in jewellery repair processes will be provided, but some prior knowledge or understanding of the jewellery trade is essential.
