Accounts Payable Team Leader – Inverclyde
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to manage a team of five on a permanent basis. The role is based in Inverclyde, with hybrid working (three days in the office, two days from home) and full-access to public transport and on‑site parking. Working hours are Monday‑Friday, 9am–5pm.
Key Duties
* Lead, motivate and develop the Accounts Payable team.
* Manage invoice processing, queries and payment runs to meet deadlines.
* Monitor KPIs, workflows and team performance to ensure service levels are achieved.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
* Act as a senior escalation point for complex queries.
* Support process improvement and automation initiatives where appropriate.

* Proven experience in Accounts Payable, including supervisory or team‑lead responsibilities.
* Confidence managing workloads, setting priorities and supporting team development in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
