The Role We are seeking reliable, detail focused Production Operators to join a well established manufacturing team. This is a standalone, machine based role where you will operate specialist encapsulation and tablet press machinery used in the production of nutraceutical grade products. While full training will be provided, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and the ability to follow precise procedures while working independently. Working Hours Monday - 8am-4:30pm Tuesday - 8am-4:30pm Wednesday - 8am-4:30pm Thursday - 8am-4:30pm Friday - 8am-4:30pm Saturday - Day Off Sunday - Day Off Key Responsibilities * Machine Operation: Set up, operate and monitor production machinery such as encapsulation and tablet press machines to ensure smooth and accurate output. * Quality Control: Perform regular in process checks, record data and maintain the highest quality standards across all production batches. * Adaptability To Work Alone And In Teams: Work independently for extended periods, managing your own tasks while maintaining focus and accountability. However, there may be times where you will need to support other lines, team members and work in pairs, can you confidently work in different people settings? * Equipment Cleaning And Maintenance: Clean down machinery and work areas in line with strict GMP and FSSC 22000 standards. * Compliance And Documentation: Complete production records accurately and report any deviations or issues in accordance with company procedures. * Health And Safety: Always operate safely, follow site protocols and contribute to maintaining a clean and controlled manufacturing environment. What We’re Looking For * Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or machine operating environment (food, pharmaceutical or similar industries desirable). * A mechanical or technical mindset with the ability to learn and adapt to complex machinery. * Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to working. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Good communication and record keeping skills. * Physically capable of handling materials and performing manual tasks when required. Preferred (Not Essential): * GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths. * Technical or vocational training related to mechanical or production operations. * Basic computer literacy for logging and tracking production data.
