Overview
Multi Trade Operative. Location: Site based, covering The Greater Manchester Area. Standard Hours: Monday - Friday, 39 hours. Based on a Social Housing Tenanted property contract, you will work in both occupied and void properties. The role is varied, customer focused, and supported by a central team that plans work to meet customer needs while balancing travel time. You will see the impact of your skills on the people and communities you work with, in a secure, inclusive, and caring environment. The works are multi-trade with a strong bias towards joinery, ensuring properties are delivered to a liveable standard, and you will support our responsive repairs team, making your days varied and interesting.
Responsibilities
* Carry out multi-trade repairs with a focus on joinery across tenanted and void properties, including doors, windows, kitchens, and bathrooms.
* Perform general maintenance works and alternative refurbishments in occupied properties.
* Undertake basic plumbing, tiling, and patch plastering where required; some external works including groundworks and roofing are desirable.
* Work from job tickets or a handheld device linked to a live shared system, and manage your own day and workload effectively.
* Deliver outstanding service to customers in their homes, following Novus Health and Safety policies and standards.
* Hold a full UK driving license; DBS check required.
About You
Ideally you will possess a joinery qualification with the ability to work across multiple trades; further training, including Health and Safety, will be provided. The ability to take responsibility, use your initiative to identify solutions, and complete tasks in a timely manner to deliver customer satisfaction is essential. We have exciting growth plans and want ambitious people to join us.
