Fire Door Specialist

In our facilities management (FM) division we are looking for a Fire Door specialist who will complete fire door surveys and repairs in line with our BM Trada accreditation. Sitting within our Fabric Maintenance team, you will be the key operational person delivering our fire door maintenance inspections to our customers across the North West.

As a Fire Door Specialist you will:
Complete Fire Door surveys in line with our BM Trada certification, and in line with the schedule already in place.
Quote for and complete any remedial repairs required as a result of those surveys
Ensure paperwork is completed promptly, in full and to a high standard, ensuring that we maintain our accreditation
Work on multiple customer sites across the North West, ensuring deadlines are met and our KPI performance is maintained
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures
Be customer-focused and build great relationships with everyone you work with
Carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
Support our wider Fabric Maintenance and FM team during quieter spells, carrying out other maintenance tasks in line with your skillset
The right person would also have the following qualities:
An NVQ Level 2 Joinery or equivalent qualification.
Experience within the FM industry (desirable, but not essential).
Experience with fire door maintenance and repair under a certification scheme such as BM Trada (desirable, but not essential)
Comfortable working autonomously and does not mind travelling between sites.
Highly organised, has meticulous attention to detail and is passionate about quality
A confident communicator who likes to work collaboratively & is comfortable building relationships with a range of stakeholders
