Warehouse Supervisor

Hours: Day time shift
Salary: 36-38K (DOE)

As a warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, servicing, and dispatch while maintaining compliance. Coordinating logistics, stock management, developing and strengthening your team are also at the core of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with proven experience in a warehouse/distribution environment. An eagerness to join a fast-paced team where you will take ownership of coordinating a team of people and overseeing warehouse activities is also essential.
Main duties as a Warehouse Supervisor:
Provide leadership, supervision, and development for your team, prioritising health, safety, and overall wellbeing at all times.
Oversee all aspects of stock management, including allocation, transfers, cycle counts, and full stock audits.
Ensure consistent product quality and service excellence for both internal stakeholders and external customers.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by coaching and motivating your team to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
Review workloads and plan shift schedules to ensure adequate resources and capability align with operational demands.
Develop, track, and analyse KPIs, implementing targeted action plans where performance gaps are identified.
Maintain high housekeeping standards and ensure all contractors operate safely and compliantly on site.
Manage administrative responsibilities such as monthly timesheets, toolbox talks, team briefings, and QESH (Quality, Environment, Safety & Health) meetings.
Supporting with operational improvements and managing remote delivering points.
What you will need as a Warehouse Supervisor:
Proven experience in managing people and teams in a warehouse or distribution environment
Strong leadership capabilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Positive and proactive approach
Computer literate, alongside analytical and numerical skills
A firm understanding of logistics systems
Understanding and awareness of health and safety requirements
