* Managing and preparing accounts for a portfolio of clients across various sectors.
* Preparation of company/individual tax returns.
* Review of bookkeeping.
* VAT returns and offering advice where necessary.
* Billing, fee quotes and renewals and review debtors and WIP.
* Hands on exposure working with clients on a regular basis.
* Managing workflow of team members.
* Attract new clients and contribute to the success of the firm.
* Working effectively within the wider team, including supervision and development of junior members.
What we are looking for
* Experience in practice of working as a Client Manager/Senior Accountant.
* Form of accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or qualified by experience).
* You will be confident when it comes to advising clients and seek to build long-term relations by understanding their business and adding value.
* You will have a track record as a team leader and enjoy managing, developing and celebrating your team’s success.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Technically proficient in all areas of general accounting.
