We are seeking a Travel and Tourism Teacher in, which will contribute to our Level 2 Travel Program. The School of Creative Business & Services Industries is an exceptional place to work, with staff working collaboratively to ensure the very best outcomes for our students. The area also offers a close collaboration across all our business, IT and Travel courses, with direct progression to our Level 3 Travel Program in September.
Deliver Engaging Lessons
Plan and teach high-quality lessons aligned with Level 2 Travel and Tourism curriculum, ensuring learners develop knowledge of the industry, customer service, and destination management.
Assess and Support Learners
Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to support individual learning needs.
Maintain Industry Relevance and Compliance
Keep teaching materials up to date with current travel and tourism trends, adhere to awarding body standards, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety policies.
The Travel and Tourism Level 2 Teacher will be responsible for delivering dynamic and interactive lessons that prepare learners for careers in the travel and tourism sector, whilst working alongside our already well-established travel L3 program. The role involves planning and assessing coursework, supporting students to achieve their qualifications, and maintaining a positive learning environment. The teacher will ensure that teaching reflects current industry practices and meets awarding body requirements, while promoting inclusivity, safeguarding, and professional standards.
