BasildonSalary - Negotiable DOEMonday - Friday daysYour new role:Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known manufacturing company which specialises in the design, manufacturing, build and installation of automated machinery working in several industries.With a large order book and continuous projects for the next 3-6 years, this is an excellent time to join an ever-expanding business.The business now has an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist with both setting and programming experience, ideally using HAAS machinery and Heidenhain controls.Key Responsibilities & Duties:Machining low quantities of precision components - various metals and plasticsProducing components using existing programmes, tooling and fixturesProgramme and engineer, from scratch, new components using primarily online programming processes.Quality inspection and controlWork to engineering drawingsThis is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.Skills & Experience required:Solid mechanical/engineering knowledge, ideally with an engineering apprenticeship, including the reading of engineering drawings and model requirementsOffline programming knowledge - Fusion 360 preferredFamiliar with the use of Heidenhain controlsExperience with Haas machineryFull knowledge of CNC workshop equipment, set, operate and programmeExperience of working to tight tolerances and quality-driven parts.What you need to do now if you're interested in this role:Click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV or call us now.
