*Overview*
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling, barbering, and customer service, with the ability to lead and mentor junior staff. *Duties*
* Deliver a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, colours, blow-drys, and specialised treatments
* Perform barbering services with precision and professionalism
* Provide specialised beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions and professional makeup application
* Offer exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and providing tailored advice
* Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and payment processing
* Mentor and support junior stylists to develop their skills and ensure high standards of service
* Upsell products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue
* Assist with store management tasks such as stock control, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring health & safety compliance
* Build lasting relationships with clients through personalised care and professional communication
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility in styling techniques
* Skills in barbering, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments are highly desirable
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members
* Previous experience in store management or supervisory roles is advantageous
* Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanour
* Ability to mentor junior staff members and foster a positive team environment
* Organised with excellent time-management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently
* A recognised qualification in hairdressing or barbering from a reputable institution is required
* Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends if necessary; however, the role primarily involves daytime hours
* Race day pin-up essential and bouncy blowouts

Pay: £24,420.00-£50,283.05 per year
