team at London Sports Physiotherapy in Sutton, London.
We are an experienced multi-disciplinary team of sports medicine and injury specialists including physiotherapists, MSK Sonographers, injection therapists, acupuncturists and massage therapists.
Our team have experience working with elite athletes across professional sport and around the world. Our goal is to provide sports medicine services and elite physiotherapy to our clients.
We perform diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injection therapy in steroid and hyaluronic acid alongside expert rehabilitation under one roof. We are passionate about providing an evidence-based service, with co-director Jai currently undertaking a PhD in lower back pain and sciatica.
Our clinic is fully equipped with elite equipment including VALD objective strength testing kits, occlusion blood flow resistant training and COMPEX Electrical Muscle Stimulators.
We have close working relationships with consultants in Orthopaedics, Pain Medicine, Rheumatology and Neurology. There is ample opportunity to observe surgery and consultant clinics, as well as attending leading conferences and networking events throughout London.
The candidates primary responsibility will be assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation utilising their skills and knowledge. The candidate will have a keen interest in the client journey and how treatment can form a strong part of their experience.
We see people of all ages including acute injuries and post-operative clients following surgeries including ACL repair, rotator cuff repair and spinal surgery. We treat people with long-term pain such as osteoarthritis or persistent spinal pain who require exercise-based rehabilitation or pain-management education.
We would like the candidate to have the following skills and experience:
• a BSc or MSc degree in Physiotherapy and be a Chartered Physiotherapist
• a registration with the HCPC
• a minimum of 3 year post graduate experience, including NHS experience
• can demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) and a desire to improve as a physiotherapist
• strong manual therapy skills
• the ability to provide safe and progressive gym-based rehabilitation programmes
• the ability to work as an autonomous practitioner in providing physiotherapy assessments, diagnosis and treatments to a wide range of musculoskeletal patients
• the ability to use evidence-based practise and specialist skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions
• the ability to liaise with other health care professionals to provide the optimum management of patients.
• the ability to participate activities to further develop own development and other service developments and attend and take part in education and training as required
• the ability to maintain up to date physiotherapy records in line with professional and clinical governance standards
• the desire to provide a high standard of care to every patient in order to maintain and prove the high standards of the company
• a background working in sport would be desirable

We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join us at LONDON SPORTS PHYSIO on a part time basis. You will have use of the gym facilities and CPD opportunities including course funding and opportunities to learn from clinicians.
The role may include weekends, peak times, early morning or evenings.
