As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our busy team.
Better Kitchens provides complete kitchens and components to customers across the UK who have placed an order through our online shop, showroom, or over the telephone.
This role involves delivering kitchens to customers' homes. The position requires manual lifting, the ability to work to tight deadlines, and working closely within a team.
Primary duties of this role include:
* Delivery of both flat-pack & pre-assembled kitchens.
* Handball & heavy lifting will be required.
* Liaising with customers during delivery.
* Monday to Friday with occasional weekends as required.
* Some early starts and late returns expected.
* Updating paperwork as required.
* Communicating any issues with team members.
* Basic vehicle maintenance.
* Full-time contract with varying start times depending on delivery routes.
* Contracted to a minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime as required, possibly including weekends.
Experience and skills required:
* Previous experience with delivery processes.
* Clean driving license.
* Applicants must be 25 or over due to insurance requirements for driving company vehicles.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Availability to work beyond contracted hours during busy periods.
* Ability to adapt to new procedures and processes.
