Exciting opportunity! Complex Care Worker – Plymouth area – £14.02–£21.03 per hour, weekly pay, free DBS, holiday pay.
Role Overview
You will support a 14‑year‑old woman with CTNNB1 syndrome in her home, providing personal care, medication management, and daily living support while encouraging her participation in sensory play and other enjoyable activities.
Hours available: every other weekend on Saturday or Sunday for 6 hours, plus extra cover during school holidays. There is also the opportunity to cover additional shifts and other complex care packages.
Responsibilities
* Supporting personal care tasks
* Administering medication
* Performing complex care tasks
* Encouraging and providing fluids and nutrition
* Assisting with activities of daily living, companionship and outings
* Maintaining skin integrity
* Carrying out domestic duties and shopping trips where appropriate
* Maintaining and updating care records
Qualifications
* Paid previous experience as a professional carer
* Full UK driving licence and business insurance
* Flexible availability, including every‑other weekend
* Excellent communication skills
* Kind, empathetic, trustworthy and reliable
