We have a full time Clinical Support Worker vacancy within our CAMHS inpatient service, Ancora House. You would be required to work on a rotational shift basis, which includes days, nights and twilights.
You will be part of a supportive and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team. The role involves working collaboratively with individual service users, carers and other stakeholders.
Job responsibilities

The post offers the successful applicant the exciting opportunity to join this team and provide the highest quality of care for our service users. We have an excellent training programme.
The individual must also be able to demonstrate an understanding and application of the 6 C\'s in practice, these being Care; Compassion; Competence; Communication; Courage and Commitment.
The job role involves a variety of tasks including; supporting young people in education, providing different levels of observations and liaising with external agencies and families/carers.
We are recruiting for full time permanent and full time 12 months fixed term roles.
CWP has adopted the Living Wage. Where the standard Agenda for Change hourly rate is below Living Wage, pay will be supplemented to this level.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Essential: Appropriate Mental Health related qualification, or willingness to complete an apprenticeship appropriate to the Clinical Support Worker role.
* Essential: Will work towards the appropriate mental health related NVQ level 3 once in post or equivalent experience
* Essential: To demonstrate a range of work procedures and practices and to exhibit your knowledge and abilities
* Essential: Completion of or commitment to complete the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 3 months of start date)
* Desirable: Qualifications in Health and Social Care or other related disciplines
Knowledge and Expertise
* Essential: Understanding of CWP, inclusive of Mental health services and the key role the Trust has within the health economy
* Essential: An understanding of confidentiality issues how they relate to mental health policy and practice interventions.
* Essential: Knowledge of CWP observation policy (policy found on CWP website)
* Desirable: Knowledge of mental health legislation and policies.
Experience
* Essential: The ability to demonstrate good quality care, whilst adhering to Trust policies and procedures, and working towards completing Care Certificate.
* Essential: Experience of working collaboratively i.e. with colleagues, wider teams service users etc
* Essential: Supporting others in a care setting, whether this is experience in a professional or lived experience (friend, family, voluntary etc.)
* Desirable: Previous experience of working with adults with severe mental health needs
