Role Overview
As a Crane Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in directing and supervising lifting operations with a keen focus on safety and quality. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
* Directing and supervising lifting operations in accordance with Method Statements.
* Interpreting Risk Assessments and associated drawings.
* Providing clear instructions to the lift team.
* Assessing and halting operations if necessary, referring to the Appointed Person.
* Adhering to BS7121 parts 1 and 3 standards.
* Continuously seeking improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications And Skills
* Valid CPCS A62 Crane Supervisor (Blue Card)
* Previous experience in Crane Supervisor and Appointed Person roles.
* Ability to produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
* Strong knowledge of BS7121 parts 1 & 3.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Confident decision-maker with the ability to challenge senior staff when necessary.
