We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors for a number of secondary schools in Wellingborough to join their teams from September 2025. These roles offer a fantastic opportunity to work within schools, supporting teachers during absences and ensuring continuity of learning. Role Overview: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes when teachers are absent, ensuring students remain engaged and on task with pre-prepared lesson plans and resources. Key responsibilities include: Supervising and managing student behaviour across a range of subjects (KS3 and KS4) Delivering pre-prepared lesson content, ensuring students follow instructions and complete assigned tasks Supporting students with their learning as needed, maintaining a positive and productive classroom atmosphere Reporting any issues, progress, or concerns to teaching staff promptly Assisting with school routines, including break supervision and corridor duties when required Being a reliable, consistent presence in the school community Ideal Candidate: Experience working with young people, preferably in a school or educational setting Confident in managing classroom behaviour and establishing authority calmly and respectfully Ability to follow lesson plans and provide clear instructions to students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a school team Flexible and adaptable to the varying demands of a school environment Why Work With Us?
