This is a part-time, 3-day-a-week position based at a single site in Kent — perfect for a confident and capable OH Nurse who thrives in a safety-critical environment.
About the Role
You'll be delivering high-quality occupational health services, including:
* Safety critical medicals
* Health surveillance and fitness-for-work assessments
* Drug and alcohol testing
* Management referrals and return-to-work assessments
* Advising on health campaigns and supporting health & wellbeing initiatives
You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in professional visits, ergonomic assessments, emergency response, and health promotion across the wider organisation.
What We’re Looking For
* Registered Nurse with active NMC registration
* Previous experience in Occupational Health, ideally in a safety-critical or high-risk environment
* Skilled in delivering medical assessments and interpreting results
* Confident using electronic medical record systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Organised, adaptable, and able to work independently
Desirable:
* OH qualification (Diploma or SCPHN)
* Vaccination training and ergonomic assessment experience
* Experience within rail, transport, or a similar sector
