Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Data Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable data solutions in a cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure data services, data modeling, and event-driven architectures to support enterprise-wide data engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and architect end-to-end data solutions on Azure Cloud.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Implement data transformations and processing using PySpark.
• Define and maintain robust data models for Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.
• Design and integrate API solutions using Azure API Management services.
• Develop serverless and event-driven data workflows using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Hub, Service Bus, and Cosmos DB.
• Collaborate with business and engineering teams to ensure data architecture aligns with organizational goals.
• Ensure data governance, performance, and security best practices are followed.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks and PySpark
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory
• Proficiency with Azure API Management, Function Apps & Logic Apps
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture in Azure
• Strong data modeling, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse concepts
• Exposure to Dremio and DBT preferred
