We are currently partnering with a leading manufacturer based in Coventry, who are recruiting for a Corporate Tax Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time position offering 2-3 days per week home working and a salary up to £60,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.
The ideal candidate will be qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA and have at least 1-2 years' post qualification experience.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of the corporate tax compliance
2. Preparing the UK corporate tax returns, managing corporate tax payments and claims and elections for group entities
3. Completing tax reporting under UK GAAP for statutory accounts purposes
4. Monthly/quarterly tax accounting/reporting for group purposes
5. Supporting to deliver the group's senior accounting officer sign-off process
6. Supporting with tax advisory special assignments on an ad hoc basis
7. Keeping technically up to date using resources such as our books online
8. Challenging current practice and driving improvements to reporting processes
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
9. Tax accounting experience is essential
10. Proactive and commercially minded
11. Strong communication and presentation skills
12. Ability to adapt and adjust to different audiences
