Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Integrated Assessment Team for Reading Borough Council.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Leading and supervising a team of Social Workers within a fast-paced Assessment service.
* Overseeing high-quality assessments and ensuring timely decision-making for children and families.
* Providing professional guidance, reflective supervision, and oversight of complex and high-risk cases.
* Ensuring robust safeguarding practice and effective multi-agency collaboration.
* Monitoring performance, workflow, and compliance with statutory requirements and local procedures.
* Driving continuous improvement and promoting strong, child-centred social work practice.
* Supporting the allocation and progression of cases through the Assessment pathway.
* Ensuring accurate case recording and high-quality reporting in line with service expectations.
Working Pattern:
* Hybrid working (office presence required based on service needs).
* Fast-paced Assessment environment.
Pay Rate:
* Up to £47.50 p/h Umbrella
