Job Title: IT Systems Administration Team Leader
Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary £ 80,000
What you'll be doing:
* Manage the allocation & delivery of work within the Team, including feeding into the main Resource plan
* Manage the DBA resource team, setting objectives, directing and motiving, creating development plans and allocating and tracking work progress
* Identify and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including other IT Teams, Customers & Suppliers
* Manage Business escalations and service issues, taking appropriate actions and working with our 3rd party IT providers
* Managing a number of systems and servers a mix of on-prem and Oracle Cloud environments
* Ensure systems and environment are patched to the latest vendor patch levels
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Experience leading a small team
* Experience performing SQL Server Administration and Support
* Experience performing Oracle Database Administration and Support
* Knowledge of Windows, Linux and Red hat Operating Systems
Desirable:
1. Experience supporting Oracle eBusiness Suite or Oracle SaaS environments
2. Experience using Service Now, Jira and Jira Service Management
