Lending Assistant – Real Estate Finance
Midlands (Hybrid Working) - Salary up to £35k
I’m currently partnering with a growing challenger bank based out of the Midlands that’s looking to add a Lending Assistant to its Real Estate Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a detail-driven environment and enjoys working closely with both customers and internal stakeholders.
In this role, you’ll be supporting the ongoing management of an established Real Estate Finance loan book. You’ll handle day-to-day client queries, assist with loan reviews and portfolio maintenance, and ensure all activity is completed in line with the bank’s lending policies, procedures, and due-diligence requirements.

What We’re Looking For:
• Background in a comparable role within banking or the wider real estate sector
• Good working knowledge of Real Estate Finance, supported by strong financial and commercial insight
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems effectively
• Results-focused approach with clear, confident communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Exceptional organisational abilities and proficiency with IT systems
