Data Architect
Location: London (Hybrid – 1–2 Days Per Week Onsite)
Salary: Up to £90K (+ Benefits)
We are working with a global SaaS provider that has teams across the UK, Eastern Europe, and the USA. They are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join their organisation. This role is well-suited to someone who is comfortable in a fast-moving, data-focused environment and is interested in contributing to the design and development of data solutions that support a widely used international platform.
The Opportunity:
As a Data Architect, you will design and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines and systems to support 24/7 operations. You will apply software engineering principles to build data models, enable analytics, and support business systems across the organisation.
What you will be Doing
* Designing, implementing, and optimising scalable data architectures in AWS.
* Building and maintaining reliable ETL/ELT pipelines to support always-on operations.
* Driving data ingestion from diverse sources (APIs, FTP, internal/external systems).
* Modelling, transforming, and normalising large datasets for analytics, reporting, and machine-driven processes.
* Collaborating closely with engineering, product, and analytics teams to align architecture with business needs.
What you will Bring
* Deep expertise in AWS data architecture.
* Proficiency with SQL, Python, Spark, and Kafka.
* Expertise in ETL pipelines, data acquisition, transformation, and normalisation.
* Experience working with APIs, file-based ingestion, and large-scale distributed systems.
